Debden Barns (Wimbish) Saffron Walden

Debden Barns is a great little find, with a teashop and antique and gift shop

This was a recent discovery even though we’ve been going past it for years on our way to Saffron Walden! A friend suggested we meet here for brunch and now we go back regularly. It’s a firm favourite.

My usual order is the fruit scones and a pot of tea. On a sunny or bright day it’s lovely to sit outside. There is plenty of free onsite parking and the staff are lovely and it’s dog friendly too.

I always have to go into the aladdins cave next door to the teashop that is a gift shop. The stuff they sell is really interesting and quirky and sits alongside reclaimed or aged garden ornaments and unusual things.

I intend to go back and do some Christmas shopping or buy really nice gifts for friends birthdays.
