Priors Hall Barn - Widdington
A medieval barn dating back to the 15th century - worth a visit if you are passing.
As we were passing on a visit to Debden Barns (close by) we saw the sign for Priors Hall Barn (with the brown English Heritage sign), so we decided to turn into the farm and have a look.
Although not manned, the doors were wide open and welcoming to be able to pop in and look around. The barn is huge and so well maintained considering it’s age. There is nothing else to see here, and a strange setting surrounded by commercial farmland, but definitely worth a quick look as it is owned and upkept by English Heritage.
Such a simple widow and goodness knows how old!
A quick selfie…..
