Wivenhoe
Wivenhoe is a little gem of a town. I never get bored of visiting this place especially in the summer or on a sunny winters day. It has all the things I love, pubs, cafes, interesting properties and water and boats! So this unique Essex town gets a big tick in all those boxes from me. On the outskirts of Colchester town (literally a couple of miles from the town centre) it is definitely worth visiting (whether by car or by train).
