Apple Day (Cressing Temple Barns

Apple Day at Cressing Temple Barns was a fun few hours and worth a visit. An annual event in mid-October celebrating Apples!

From cider making and so many varieties I didn’t know existed, this event was full of interesting craft stalls and interesting people, many dressed in historic victorian clothes going ahead with everyday tasks from years gone by. The bakery was open making apple biscuits and apple scones, with the bakers dressed in historical costumes.

The highlight for me was the Steam Punk Morris Dancers. Good fun to watch and great costumes! I’ll be putting this in my diary of events for next year.
