The Hythe - Maldon

The Hythe at Maldon is the home to the tall ships, waterfront pubs and a great place to sit with a drink and people watch! The town has an interesting collection of shops but the top end of town is better in my opinion, the lower end (shop wise) is a bit rough around the edges but has it’s own charm. At the lower end of the town is where the quayside is situated, so definitely worth the walk down to explore and have a drink and lunch at the Queen’s Head Pub - one of our favourites (a pub with great pub grub and friendly locals). Dog friendly too!
